Kauai peaks

On our first visit to Kaua'i a few years ago I was fascinated by the mountains west of Anahola and also the beautiful summit near Ha'ena.

Going back in a couple months for a 2nd visit. Interested in hiking/scrambling Kalalea Mtn and Makana Peak. Anybody know if there are established routes/trails to these peaks or ridges?

I'm not a hiker -- but did you check out this website? It seems to list every hiking trail on Kaua`i:

Great site auntie!

Has the moss behind your ears disappeared and have your webbed feet and hands retruned to normal?

You soooooooo funny, mister!
Although we're still getting some rain, it's only "light" and "occasional showers", well-interspersed with lovely, warm sunshine.

I hesitate to actually put this in print, but what the heck...I think winter's over!!!!! 8-)
