Thanks for the replies, I think both Roys & Beach House are quite expensive so will decide between the two. We are traveling with 2 teenagers who do not like fancy places and my son does not eat seafood, only chicken. glimmer2
I have not heard of Keoki's before, where is that & what type of food?
Any other suggestions anyone?

Excited,
Like iceeu2 said Keoki's is located in the Poipu Shopping Village across from Kiahuna Plantation. It's a place that teenagers would like. It's very tropical and fun. You can either eat in the main dinig room or in the bar area. The bar area is very nice and the whole restaurant is open air. The bar serves burgers, fries, etc. plenty that non-fish eaters will enjoy.
If you have to pick between Roy's or the Beach House, I'd go with the Beach House for atmosphere. Roy's I'm sure is wonderful, but it's in the shopping center. I don't know how old your teenagers are but maybe they can stay at the condo and you can enjoy an adult dinner out.
Another place I loved was Hamura's Saimin in Lihue. It's sooo yummy and super cheap.

Ohhh?!?! I wonder if the fare Pele is still bartending at Keoko's? We only knosh at the bar and have caught some fun local music around happy hour time after returning sunsandandsurf dreanched from Polihale or Kipu ATV! Ah the ambiance doesn't get any better than that - even without Pele - hahahaha!

We enjoyed Auntie's suggestions of Dolphin's and Polynesian Cafe on the N. Shore ( the latter has two locations on the island ). Also caught the Hanalei Cafe Buffet last Friday night ($65 + drinks).
DS isn't fond of buffets, but it was a superb view of the sunset! The buffet was grand as buffets go. Of course, we over indulged.
Of the three listed above, I liked Dolphins the best.
Thanks to all who helped us with the planning!

Do you think we could go to Roys just for dessert & coffee? We usually eat late so it would not be at their dinner rush hour, that way one night we could whip up something at the condo & go out after.
