Careful Mel....

Dont let any residual alcohol cloud your judgment. The island truly is a hellhole. And ugly!!!! Avoid that goddamned hippie town at all cost......

Hugs to the gang! Pleeze......

Oh, the pain, the pain...

Please confirm that Hanalei is still a dump and not worthy of anyone's time.

Is it raining?

Hello to all the sufferers there!

well, it is/was raining in Hanalei and Makai was joking that it may be time to close the gate! Got to pass your favorite, Tunnels Beach.

Anyway....we are outta there and now on our way to brunch at the Princeville Hotel.

My friends in Honolulu have been calling me and Makai giggles when she hears their voices (not on speaker phone) squealing, "what?! You're on KAUAI?!" like I've been exiled or put in time out or something.

Your cosmopolitan friends are correct. You have been exiled to a most unpleasant island. Listen to them and never forget the hell of the hellhole!

Party on Mel, party on Kal, party on Auntie, party on Mak and mr and mrs everyone!!!

bigass hugs!

You guys keep calling....waking me up! zzzzzzzz hahahhaaaaaa

nah, the food at the Princeville brunch is incredible .... go for brunch and that can be your one meal that day! we stuffed ourselves with seafood, duck, bread pudding......oh! gyppie, you just got cut off. Tmobile service is not so good out here. Kal asked, "is she drinkin' too?!"

OK gotta run, the sun came out and is now making Hanalei Bay & Makana a sight to see with all the waterfalls. hot damn! it looks just like this at home! well, MY home, anyway. I guess it doesn't look like this in Illinois.

If she is a cheese, I'd say a camembert - soft, ripe and with a tasty rind!

With all of this bs talk y'all are doing, you've really messed it up now. We have 4 days that are unplanned and no reservations when we go to Hawaii in March. This afternoon I asked the real icee what we were gonna do.

Well........with all my ramblings for the past 2 days, he thinks without a doubt, we will just add the 4 days onto Kauai.

It is very hard to get him to go to the same place more than once, but Kauai has captured him. I do hope the "kids" love it as much as we do...and, as much as you hammerheads do!!
