kauai gardens

If only able to visit one of the gardens on Kauai (Limajuli, Allerton, or McBryde) which one is the most worthwhile of your time? Planning to be there in early June for a couple weeks. Thanks for your input.

The allerton gardens is my favorite. Go to the end of lawai beach road near the spouting horn in poipu. The gardens at the visitor center in poipu is a good indication of things to come. A shuttle takes you to the gardens along a scenic road overlooking lawaikai valley.I,ve never toured limahuli, but I,ve been back there. Limahuli valley is awesome. Either one wont be a let down.

Lumahali is absolutely breathtaking - and so peaceful. Bring a picnic!

If you're more interested in native plants and great views, Limahuli. If you're more interested in landscape gardens and those Jurassic Park trees, Allerton. Since you'll be there for a couple of weeks, why not do both?
