I was told the Poipu construction will be pretty much complete and not an issue by early 2009

Is this true?

We weren't considering Poipu Kapili b/c of the construction but may reconsider if this is true...

TTT for some of our Island FFFs.

The huge Kukuiula development (near Spouting Horn) will probably be going on for years and years. It's basically a whole new town -- houses, condos, shopping center, golf course, etc.

i was just at the point last week. after calling everyone poor b@strds for staying at the kapili, bartender bruce told us he spoke with quite a few people staying there but away from the road and that the noise didn’t seem to bother them. so long you get a unit away from the road that is. there are other places east of there like the hyatt. the detour itself is easy to navigate just follow everyone.

So in 180 more days I will be avoiding Poipu?
