Kauai condo
 

Looking for a one bedroom condo for a week on kauai in july . my budget is around $200-250 a day for accomodation would like to be close to a good beach. Having a in house washer/dryer is a must. any ideas Fodorites?

South Shore:
Kiahuna Plantation (find units on vrbo.com for a discount.) It is right on a nice beach.

North Shore:
Pali Ke Kua
Pu'u Poa
Both are on the cliffs and are oceanfront. You can access gorgeous, small beaches below via a steep trail.
Other north shore beahes are 10 - 20 minutes drive away.

Have you looked at all the places on vrbo? And does it have to be a condo, or on resort property? I have high hopes for the place we're staying, Hale Maile, 2 blocks to Hanalei Bay, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, for $145 per night. But that's just an example of what you'll find on vrbo.com.

at the Kai Nani

There was a community washer/dryer (I don't remember how many) that was close to this particular condo. I used it once.

We enjoyed the views and the location.

Pali Ke Kua on the North Shore. Just do a google search to find tons of places renting condos there or Sea Lodge. I suggest renting only from a condo agency where you get to pick the actual condo you are staying in. www.kauai-vacations-ahh.com
