Kauai beach question

Has anyone heard of Hidden Cove Beach? The house we are renting in the Princeville area says that it is located at the trail to Hidden Cove Beach?

Ashley,
Have not heard of this beach, but maybe aunitem will know of it as she lives in Princeville. Which house are you renting in Moloa'a? Is it that neat Bali-style house? Just curious.

We are renting the Moloa'a Bay Cottage for four nights and then the house called Keoniana Kai (Princeville house right on the bluff near the trail to Hidden Cove Beach)for another four nights. Finally two nights at the Hyatt before we go home.

Ashley-- Is it Hideaway Cove instead of Hidden Cove? If so, its a lovely spot. The paved trail at Pali Ke Kua is very steep, there is also a dirt trail near the P-Ville Hotel parking lot.

The path to Hidden Cove is barely discernable (and unmarked) between 2 houses. The top is paved, but soon becomes a rocky, steep decline to the tiny beach (impassable when wet).

And I do mean _tiny_; the beach is only visible at low tide.

auntiemaria,
Please don't take a drive to view the houses I mentioned (that is way too kind of you!), but do you happen to be familiar with either of the houses we will be renting? The cottage is owned by a wife who is a realtor and her husband is CEO of Wilcox hospital. I know their names if you want me to email them to you. I found the second house in Princeville from the ReMax website. Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

You can't wrong with _any_ of the oceanfront rentals in Moloa`a. Lovely location, and the homes are well-maintained. You'll love it there!

Although I've not been inside Keoniana Kai, I walk past it regularly. You won't have any trouble finding the path to Hidden Cove, as the house is between the path and the bluff. Spectacular location.

You've hit the jackpot with both houses!

Thanks, auntiemaria!!! You have increased my excitement!!! I can't wait to go!
