rncheryl: Small world. (Well, small island!) I walk past that house regularly! It's on the street where the albatrosses nest this time of year. I go by to see the babies. Yesterday, I joked that we should buy it.
Songdoc, we watched a chick next door on our visit a couple of years ago. Fascinating. |
Keep the conversation coming! We are getting excited and CaliNurse, I looked at that house--wow! That led me to a trip around the island to look at other swanky houses and question myself about the Hyatt. However, one of the (grown) kids says "If we are going to resort for the last few days, let's resort!" And I agree. And I promise I will stop second guessing myself. I will come back if I have any other questions--and I will!

But you can't go wrong. There is no "right" answer. |
The Grand Hyatt reopened yesterday.
I think your decision of the Hyatt versus a luxury home rental depends on what you want. The pools at the Hyatt are exceptional, but they can be crowded. You would have restaurants within the complex. You would also be on a beach, with access to the incredible Mahaulepu trail. Do you want the feel of a resort--or the privacy of a home? rncheryl: how awesome that you got to see a chick! You probably saw me walking by. You just didn't know it. ;-) |
