Kauai Adventures
 

I'm traveling to Kauai from March 6-13 and am having some difficulty deciding which adventures to take. I am interested in snorkeling, whale watching, 4x4 tours, and helicopter tours. Can anyone recommend a helicopter company that is the best and also, a snorkeling outfitter that provides the best tour? Thanks so much!

Hey - we'll be at the Sheraton from 3/5 - 3/12. Where are you? Can't vouch for anything yet, but we booked interisland helicopter based on its reviews.

We are using reward points to stay at the Hilton. I've heard good things about Interisland and Jack Harter because you have the option to fly without doors.

You mentioned an interest in 4x4 tours. We did an ATV Kipu Ranch tour while on Kauai a couple years ago and had a blast!!!!

My favorite adventure on Kauai was my flight with Air Ventures! This is actually a plane tour. We chose this company because they are a lot safer than a helicopter plus due to the lower cost of insurance and maintenance on the plane, it was half the price. The whole experience was amazing, I took some incredible photos and every one at Air Ventures was so helpful and nice!

Another activity that was really fun was our boat ride with Kauai Sea Rider Adventures. The tour left from the south shore and takes you out to all the best snorkeling spots. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles and enough fish to last us a lifetime.

Kauai is so wonderful, have a great trip!
