Kauai A/C condo rentals
 

Are there any A/C condos available for rent on Kauai. The only one I've seen is the Kauai Regency condos but I can't find much info on the resort. Has anybody stayed there or know anything about the resort complex (rooms, beach, etc.)?

The studio we stayed in on our honeymoon had great A/C at:

However I have heard units vary there and we switched#o because of limited &quot;kitchenette&quot; to a 1BR (w/full kitchen) without A/C and requested and received a large floor fan which in addition to the ceiling fan kept us cool. :S-

Kauai Coast Resort in the Kapaa area has a/c. These are the nicest condos on the east side.

Theya re rare but do exist. Try searching Kauai Vacation rentals and specificy air conditioning when you contact them. The newer condos are more likely to have air and sometimes you just need it! We just returned and it was very humid and the configuration of the condo we rented didn't take advantage of the current trade winds so there wasn't much cross breeze. Fans help but air especially in the bedroom is wonderful.

We rented a condo unit at The Cliffs #4-207 through Kauai Vacation Rentals in late Aug for a week that had 2 portable A/C units. They were essential as the weather was quite warm and muggy. Besides having A/C, the condo was beautifully decorated and had a distant ocean-view from the lanai. We were VERY glad to come back to a nicely cooled condo each evening.
