kauai-1 month to go anyone else 11/15-11/22 ?
We'll be on Kauai 11/15-11/22. Staying at The Lawai Beach Resort (timeshare) I can't wait! I spend all my free time on these boards, surfing the net for info or reading the Ultimate Guide to Kauai -my new bible! Anyone else going to be around that week?

Tere, When you get back will you post your thoughts on Lawai Beach Resort?
We are fortunate enough to be going to Maui over Christmas and then my hubby and I are going to Kauai in March using our friends timeshare at the Lawai Beach Resort in the Banyan building.

I think I know where it is located as we stayed at the Sheraton which is not too far there. Have a great trip!

Hi Tere,
We will be there 11/8-15. Staying at the Garden Cottage on the North Shore. We were last in Kauai 9 years ago and had both kids with us. This year it is just me and my husband and I can't wait!

We will be in kauai on 11/17-26. We are staying in the princeville area at the paniolo condos.
We have not been to kauai for 12yrs. Am so looking forward to going.

I too will be there from the 14-22. It is my first time to Kauai and after reading the postings on these boards I am so excited! We are staying at the Sheraton. Have a great trip!!!

I will be staying at Kuhio Shores (across the street from Lawai Beach Resort) will be leaving the day you are arriving.I have lots of things to see and do circled in my Ultmate Guide.

PLEASE let me know how you stay was at Lawai! I'm trying to plan a trip there next year b/w 11-20 till 11-27. good spot for a honeymoon?

Lawai Beach Resort is essentially a timeshare resort. However, they do have an on-site exchange company Hawaii Time Share Exchange. They may have available weeks for rent and I believe this would be your best bet if you are not a timeshare owner there, or own a timeshare elsewhere that you can exchange into Lawai Beach Resort. The phone number for HTSE is 866-860-4873 toll free. They also have a web site

We will be on Oahu from 11/20-24 the to Kauai from 11/24-12/2. Staying at a friends home near Poipu on Pe'e Road. Can't wait!!!

Sounds as though there will be a lot of Fodorites on Kauai in November. My husband and I will be there Nov 10-16, staying in a cottage booked thru Gloria's Vacation Rentals.
