Kaua`i Farmers' Markets
 

Since the subject of our island's Farmers
Markets has come up again recently, thought I'd post a list for anyone coming to Kaua`i soon:

Mon - 12N - Koloa Ball Park
Tue - 3pm - Kalaheo Neighborhood Center
Tue - 3pm - Wailua Homesteads Park
Tue - 2pm - Waipa Farm (north of Hanalei)
Wed - 3pm - Kapa`a New Town Park
Thu - 3pm - Hanapepe Park
Thu - 4:30 - Kilauea Neighborhood Center
Fri - 3pm - Vidinha Stadium (Lihu`e)
Sat - 9am - Kekaha Neighborhood Center
Sat - 9am - Hanalei Commuity Center

Get there at least 15 minutes before they open, to get "dibs" on the offerings -- and the merchants appreciate folks who bring their own plastic bags. 8-)

Thanks AuntieMaria for publishing this, I'm goingto bring it on my next trip. I always seem to find out about the local farmers market the day after they were close by!

Isn't there still a farmers market in Kilauea on Saturday morning? We're flying in Saturday morning and were hoping to pick up our produce there on our way to the north shore. I'm afraid we'll be too late to catch the one in Hanalei.

Do Kauaian carpenters go to Framers Markets? :-?
