Katz's
I would like to visit Katz's Deli when I am in New York next month. However, I am only allowed to eat Gluten Free/Wheat Free food.

Do you know if Katz's cater for such a diet?

Thank you.

I would call Katz's Deli.

Bill, I would wait until you get to New York. There are tons of restaurants that will be able to cater to your health needs.

I doubt Katz's Deli caters to a gluten free diet. I doubt anyone who works there would know what constitutes a Gluten free diet. You can be sure the bread used for sandwiches (their core Business ) is Gluten Free.

Bill, when my friend Bonnie (who also is on a gluten and wheat free diet) goes to Katz's she orders a sampler meat platter with corned beef and pastrami, and sometimes turkey. They give her a ketchup type relish on the side and she also dips the meat in mustard. She also eats the pickles. There's a thread posting now under NYC itinerary which gives good tips on dining at Katz's.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Bill

Katz's....the best deli in the world.

Enjoy every mouthful.

As long as you will down on Houston St., stop in at Russ and Daughters and just savour the smells. Another big family favorite.
