Kal's Sept Chicago Pizzapalooza Tour GTG?
For those of you that avoid the Lounge like the plague:
We are penciling in plans for a Chicago trip in Sept.
Maybe the 15th thru the 21st. Mrs Kal is dying for some real Chicago deep dish again.
Any Chicago area FFFs interested in a pizza or two?
Lunch?
Dinner?
Pie hop?

Kal, I cannot make it - booked for the entire months of Aug.-Oct. and maybe beyond.
However, while you are deep in the throes of pizza experimentation amd satiation, perhaps you can pop up to the north side and try the Art of Pizza. Hint: You don't wear your tails to this joint.
Not sure if you've ever looked at the LTHforum website, but they've named it in their 2011 Great Neighborhoods restaurants picks. As you may know, I've been recommending it for years.
IMHO, though, a person will have different favorites for different styles of pizza. So you could have different favorites for NY-style thin-crust, neapolitan, stuffed, deep-dish, pan, and so forth.
I highly recommend that you try a Three Floyds beer while you are here, if you so desire and can. It's also on the LTHforum list.

I'd love a Chicago GTG over deep dish pizza but I'll be at a college reunion then. We're going to Miami to watch THEE Ohio State play "The U." I guess Ohio State will still be playing football this fall.
