Been to VNP but never in the area where Kaimu Beach Park is located. Lovely photos and interesting read. Thanks for sharing.

Had a terrific fresh fish sandwich at that little restaurant pictured, and nice chat with a couple of ladies who were trying to single-handedly repopulate the basalt with new palm trees.( There's also a heiau there, but it's been barred from visitors.)

@sylvia3 - We too had delicious fish sandwiches from Uncle's Kitchen.. Spicy and ginger-garlic sandwiches.. yummmm.. thinking about it makes me drool even now..:)
