kaanapali beach parking- 2 questions
 

1) in "maui revealed" on page 51 (4th edition) they show "50 parking spots" with a line going either to whaler's village or the westin. can someone tell me where the "50 spots" are? 2) in the past we parked at the sheraton. does anyone know if they still have public spots?

I posted to your other post also. I didn't see this one down below. The access you are talking about is a little driveway right in between the Westin and the Whalers Village parking garage. You pretty much have to know it's there. I believe there is a sign on the Westin side that says BEACH ACCESS. Like I said, 2 years ago they there was free parking there. I am going to be there myself in about a month, over the Labor Day holiday :)
