Ka seats

What seats would be the best for viewing "Ka" at the MGM? I don't want to be looking up during the performance...should we be in the upper level?

We sat in the 5th row, just to the right of the centre-right aisle, and felt it was well worth the $165 (and we are rather frugal!).

It was not that bad for looking up and around. The parts that were behind us were mimimal. The parts that were above us were a good part of the show but looking up enhanced the breathtaking experience. It was really cool to be so close... we could have reached out and touched some of the performers!

Unless you have a really bad neck, I think that the second-level priced seats would still give the experience of the scale of the production, with less looking up and behind than we had.

Clarification... our seats were in the 100 level on the main floor.

It's a great show... I wouldn't have traded our floor seats (102, row N) for the upper level. And, I'd agree with Carolred, that looking up is part of the experience, but I doubt that you'd end up with a stiff neck.

There's so much going on, you can't help but want to check out the sights to the sides, above, and on the stage.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to order the tickets today and am so excited!
