Ka'anapali vs. Wailea weather

I am deciding between Ka'anapali and Wailea for the second week of November and was hoping someone could help me with the differences in weather conditions like rain or wind.

Wailea wins hands down... you are far more likely to have rain on the Ka'anapali side than on the Wailea side.

Not exactly true....They are both on same side of Island. But Kanapali is in the north where it does rain more but it is also much more lush. The South is drier ..but can also have more wind. Get the book Maui Revealed..
It tells you weather patterns for entire Island at all times of day etc..ITS awesome.A great read for accomadations, food etc..everything !

You may wish to see hawaiiweathertoday.com. Describes trip planning weather, though not for either specific location. On average, probably rains as much in November in Ka'anapali as six months (or more) in Wailea. November is the start of the Hawaiian winter, with all that brings. Ka'anapali [west] and Wailea [south] are on same side of the island, when you're dividing windward/leeward. Maui Revealed [2nd ed., p. 28] describes wind in Ka'anapali area as a "semi-constant companion," though in winter the winds are weaker everywhere.
