JW Marriott or Renaissance Esmeralda in Palm Springs?

I am going to Palm Springs with my sister-in law and our 3 daughters. They are in their 20's and 30's. I am choosing between the Renaissance Esmeralda and JW Marriott Which do you recommend?

I have only stayed at the Esmeralda so I can't compare. We loved our room. It was a huge corner room that looked over the pool. Two queen beds and a large sitting area. Really huge bathroom and nice fluffy bathrobes.

The pool is very nice and has a great bar outside. Nice pool chairs too.

The grounds are pretty andThe staff was great.

Maybe someone else can post about the JW Marriott so you can compare.

I second the Esmerelda. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are large; the bathrooms are especially big! I also stayed in a corner room that overlooked the pool on one side and the mountains on the other. GREAT!
In addition, they have the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen! The pool area is also nice.
I highly reccomend this hotel!

I've stayed at both, but we really liked the Esmeralda the best. The spa and pool areas are great.
