Not a bad place to look at but a business disaster.
The place can't scrounge enough guests or good help.
Marriott bought it for a song in a bankruptcy fire sale.

Marriott purchased ot for 70 mil but it was over 250 mil in debt. The hotel is very pretty, rooms are very nice. If you don't mind staying off the strip this is a good choice. You won't be disappointed.

Not sure if you realize that the J.W. Marriott is the same hotel that you ate at (the Regent). Since you said "I hear it is beautiful", you confused me.
