Just Back from Las Vegas...

Hi:
I have returned to the forum to give testimony ..
*Restaurants:
I've read on threads that "Tratoria del Lupo" was good. Please don't waste time nor $ there, not worth it; or on any of Wolfgang's restaurants in Las Vegas.
Commander's Palace, not as great as the original but doable.
Olive's: really enjoyed the olives (with the bread and all), lunch was good.
Circo: had lunch there before and don't know what they changed but it's not the same not the same quality of delish. Then the dessert I've enjoyed previous times was not on the menu anymore.
*Show:
Zummanity- not worth it in my opinion. They try to be innovative, but its cirque du soleil, with sex and sex and sex over and over. Not to my likings.
*Hotels-
First night @ Bally's. We have stayed there before @ North Tower its excellent, please don't take a room in the South Tower (they tried to give it to us, we checked it out, and it's like a different hotel or something ).
The following nights we had @ Bellagio for a great deal, had a beautiful view, best one we had in Vegas. Although I learned it was an "old & wornout" room because they are being remodeled from top to bottom, we were on the 18th floor and it was ok but not what I expected the Bellagio to be. Been there, done that! Also, we could still hear noise from the strip.
*Spa's:
Bally's Spa is very nice. I used the exercise room and the women's spa facilities, no massage. It was very nice and the attendants very cordial.
Bellagio's Spa was nice too and much larger. But it did not have a cordial feeling to it. The attendants were a bit snoby. Did have a massage treatmeent = very good.
The amenities like shampoo and such were better @ Bally's and they even had a warm robe to fit my size (short). Bellagio had one size in your locker, take it or leave it! I could wrap myself twice in it! Bellagio was more $$$ than Bally's and not worth it!
ALL THIS IMHO, OFCOURSE!!!

Linda - A quick question regarding the spa's you went to - can you get outside once you enter? I would love to go for say a sauna - then go outside to sit in the sun by the pool - go back in for a steamroom and then back out, etc.
