Hi, I wanted to know if there are any specific requirements passport wise traveling from U.S. to Hawaii? We want to leave a.s.a.p and my Husbands Passport is expired. He's Italian and there is no such thing as rush delivery from Italy. Should that be a problem traveling from Texas to Maui?? Thank you!

Hawaii is still a part of the United States. Why would you need a passport to go from one part of the US to another?

Carolyn, we do have polenta here in some restaurants, not that common though. I knew it was made from corn but never made the connection! We have a grit relation.

Loislu - As GoTravel points out, you won't be leaving the USA so don't need a passport. BUT, you do need photo identification to get through some of the security checkpoints at airports. We used our passports but I imagine Americans would use a drivers licence or similar.
