Just 2 days in Disney w/toddlers. What to do?

Hi! Please help us decide where to go with a 5 yr. old girl and a pair of 2 yr. old boy & girl twins. Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom or MGM? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

We were there at Christmas and had a family gathering that included 4 children ages 4-7. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and it has areas to view the animals right there at the hotel. With only two days to spend at WDW, I'd suggest staying there and spending your time at the Magic Kingdom with the young children. Don't miss the 3D movie Mickey's PhilharMagic (it's directly across from It's a Small World.)

My niece has been to WDW quite a bit over the past few years with her boys (now ages 5 & 7) and they don't like MGM, and she was surprised that they like Magic Kingdom better than Animal Kingdom (but they go to the zoo a lot near where they live.)

PS: By staying on-site at Disney, you have free use of their transportation system and just load the family on a bus and it takes you to the park. No extra driving! I had to drive to find a few hotels we wanted to visit to see the Christmas decorations, and it was unbelievable how much the place has grown over the past 8 years! Easy to get lost if you aren't good at maps and directions.

HAVE FUN!

I would suggest Magic Kingdom for the kids. I think the only rides at Animal Kingdom are a dark, rough dinosaur ride that may frighten the kids, and a ride that gets you completely soaked.

I would definitely go to the magic kingdom. I would consider going to the park for half a day, return to your hotel for a rest and dip in the pool, etc. Too often families with young children try to cram too much into one day, and end up tired, cranky and having not enjoyed their vacation. (I'm including the adults.) Plan on your two days being a wonderful "adventure", not a "vacation", and you should be fine.
Have a good trip.

Magic Kingdom all the way! Go to wdwig.com and read the section about WDW with Toddlers for lots of great tips and attractions they will love! The MOST important thing is to focus on what the kids want to do, at a pace they can manage, and avoid being a "theme park commando" at this age. Also bring your own fold-up stroller and find out WHERE the baby stations/ first aid is located and go in there for a break when needed. Quietest place in the park with nice staff and child-size bathrooms.
