Hi WWW...

I know you're asking about Morro Bay and north but San Diego has "June Gloom" and even "May Gray" - it's usually overcast or cloudy, not cold but cool in the mornings. I think the average daytime temp. around that time is mid-upper 60's. A sweatshirt or light windbreaker/jacket, and MAYBE an umbrella for sprinkles is all that is necessary.

Yes, Morro Bay will likely have June gloom. The summers tend to be the worst time of year for this beach community. You'll still have a good time, but the weather may not be perfect.

chances are you'll get fog. if you are planning on site seeeing try to do it in the afternoon when hopefully the fog may have lifted.

Quite often the fog lifts in the mid to late afternoon, giving way to brilliant blue skies. You just have to be patient.
