Joshua Tree National Park for stargazing
 

Hi all -
I'm getting back to California for the third time this year and have a yen to see the stars in Joshua Tree. I'm staying in Palm Springs with a friend and am wondering if anyone has any tips for which entrance to the park to use or, perhaps, experience with viewing the night sky in Joshua Tree. I'm open to booking accommodations nearby to avoid driving back to PS and/or using a guide service for an excursion, if there's such a thing. Any suggestions or ideas are welcomed! Silvia
