Johnson & Wales Cooking Class in Providence

I'm curious if anyone has taken the Chef's Cuisine classes at Johnson & Wales? DD (17) and I will have a little free time (visiting my parents in town), so I thought it might be a nice break. If you've done a class there, I'd love to hear what you thought.

I've not taken that particular class but we have a J & W here in CLT, I don't see how you can go wrong.

I have taken a number of them here in Charlotte and they are terrific. I think the question will be more whether you can even get in one. I don't know how they are structured in Providence but they are offered two times a year here--fall and winter, in two sets of classes. when the enrollment opens (via email), they are largely sold out within hours for the most popular (Peter Reinhart's, etc.) and within days for the remainder.

I went a number of years ago and it was fantastic.

It is a professional cooking school, even clases offered to novices expect the participants to be focused.

Be aware they do reguire appropriate dress and safety...allergies are not catered too...I learned alot...
