elderly parents arriving on saturday for the marathon (to watch us not take part) what is the easiest way for them to get to the hotel?
we are arriving on friday.

A car service (not a cut rate one) that will meet them as they exit the secure part of the airport with a sign bearing their name. Or a taxi if they can handle finding the taxi line with their luggage and possibly waiting in it for 5-15 minutes.

Carmel Car Service (212)666-666. You can call before their arrival to reserve. They will pick them up just outside baggage claim. They will simply need to call the service once they have cleared baggage claim to alert the service they have arrived. Wait will be maybe 5 minutes at that point. Fare is $40 plus tolls($4.50) flat into NYC. The car will have a placard with their name on it in the side pasenger window.
