Taxi fare from JFK to the Manhattan is fixed at $35. There may be a toll which is extra as is the tip. The total cost will be between $$40 and $45.

There is a flat rate of $35.00 from JFK to any location in Manhattan. The fare does not include tolls or tips. The ususal tip is 15-20%. Figure $48.00 with $7.00 for the tip and $6.00 for tolls.

I knew the tolls increased on the bridge and tunnel into Manhattan, but $6? I believe it's only $4!

And if your driver takes the 59th St. Bridge, there is no toll. This is the best to take to get to the Theatre District. And a $5 tip is sufficient.

Sandi - you're right. The tunnel toll is $4.00. My bad.

I used to live on tips, so I tend to overtip, but $5.00 is cool.
