Looking for a motel that is clean on the beach or near that is resonable HELP

If you're looking for something close to NYC, there's always the Fairbanks Motel in Sea Bright. Nothing fancy but Sea Bright's a good beach town w/ a couple good restaurants, bars and a good beach. No boardwalk though, which is not a bad thing.

Julie, <BR><BR>The Jersey Shore (note the singular) is 127 miles long, from Cape May north to Sandy Hook. That's a lot of ground to cover.

Why not consider a last minute condo? Call Berger Reality in Ocean City New Jersey (They are the largest) and get something cheap. I like the area above 45th street in the 50's, beach is wide open and less trafficed. <BR><BR>I have gone in a few hotels and find that they are rediculous in price and worn beyond belief. <BR><BR>Flanders in Ocean City is a nice older hotel but it sits behind the boodwalk and some amusements, Yuck! I would not face seaside the hotel is old and grand and certainly worth a stay. If you have kids the location is convienent.

Cape May is so expensive anyone stayed at the Grand Hotel or the Coachman or the Madison Motel????????? we are not having much luck is it really worth staying there?????

julie-you are looking at the worst time of year.There will only be dumps or over the top expensive places available.People start booking places at the shore in April/May!

I don't know about that Julie she can find last minute cancellations if she calls realitor.
