Hope to go to the Jazz festible this year. Would love to hear where to stay,and any help to make the trip the best.

Many cities have jazz FESTIVALS. Which city are you speaking of? New Orleans, perhaps? If so, you're kinda late in making arrangements.

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is April 24 through May 4. Tickets go on sale Feb. 21. This year, the Fest is adding an extra day- Thursday, April 24. Check the official web site, www.nojazzfest.com- it has hotel information as well as other Fest info. I don't think it's too late to get a room, but definitely don't dawdle because they'll be gone soon. We always enjoy staying in the French Quarter so we can walk to clubs, etc. after being at the Fest. Two possibilities are Hotel Ste. Helene and Hotel Ste. Marie.

There's a great Jazz Festival in Montreal in the summer - not exactly sure of the date.
