Jasper NP to Kalispell, MT Airport
 

Any one have advice on this? Doable in one day?

I'm thinking so, although it would be at least 8 hours. Are you catching a flight the next day?

If you are renting a car in Canada, don't expect to be able to turn it in in the US if you can drive it into the US at all.
If you are driving your own car, I would plan on an extra day to see as much of Glacier NP as possible.

A minimum of 8 hours PLUS time spent at border crossing which can be anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour.

Our plan is to do Glacier NP, Banff, and then Jasper. Yes we need to return the car back to Kalispell. I guess my question is ....is there another route back or will we be coming back on the eastern side of Glacier and cross over to Kalispell?

You will come down on 93 all the way from Jasper, and be on the west of Glacier Nat'l Park (U.S.).
