Just spent a long weekend at The James in Chicago. Got a good deal on expedia. Our room was fantastic. Great decor, great lighting (dimmers on all lights), CD/MP3 player so we could play our Ipod, big flatscreen TV, free wifi etc. Very comfy king size bed with nice bedding and lots of pillows! We loved it!

Location is very good for the Mile. Starbucks and Trader Joe's across the street. Can purchase individual fruit portions at Trader Joe's which was great for breakfast. They also have a good wine and beer selection.

Next trip we will stay there again (as long as it remains affordable!!)

Great hotel! Like another reviewer, we got a good deal (hotwire.com) which made our visit their affordable. We were thrilled with the luxurious beds, great showers and some fun extras such as plasma TVs, iPod docks, free wi/fi PLUS the location could not have been better - you're in the center of everything!
