Jackson, Wy -- National Museum of Wildlife Art
When we were in Jackson last month, a lady on the shuttle bus from the airport mentioned this National Museum of Wildlife Art. In my research of Jackson and the Grand Tetons, I had never seen it mentioned, but it caught our eye when we passed it on the highway as she was telling us about it.
I would strongly encourage you to visit this museum which is located just outside of Jackson -- between Jackson and the airport. It is definitely worth a visit. We went when it first opened in the morning, took our time, and then visited the Visitor's Center and had a picnic lunch. While at the Visitor Center, we overhead one of the employees mention the Miller House. It had not been on our list of things to do, but we had a little bit of time that day and headed over. It was a nice tour. http://www.wildlifeart.org/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller_Cabin |

Great ideas unless "National" means "Federal" in which case it is closed for the immediate future.

I've been to that Wildlife Museum and it is definitely worth visiting.
I missed the Miller House, however. |
The Museum IS OPEN! Go visit!!!
