jackson wy lodging which one?
i had asked about this before and intiated research but i am having trouble figuring out where to stay.
I don't want to pay 3 or 4 hundred per night for some of the places in jackson (rusty parrot etc) as i will be in town very little so why pay so much to sleep... but i do want to be able to walk to the town square. I am going to be in jackson the second weekend in sept. I have gone to trip advisor and it has made me question where to stay. any advice? i have looked at the angler inn, elk country inn, 49er, is there anything inbetween in price / quality of the rusty parrot and these places? also hoped for a hot tub to relax after hiking all day.... any help greatly appreciated.... thanx in advance to all. (Wort doesn't look like the place for me) |
If (big IF) you can find a room, I strongly recommend the Trapper Inn.

I stayed at the Davy Jackson Inn and was pleased with the accomodations.

We didn't have pre-made reservations when we went into Jackson so we stopped at a couple in the square area and outside it. We stayed at The Wort hotel and looked at Days Inn. Days Inn (much cheaper) had no rooms that night and would have been very nice but we found a place at the Wort and were happy with it (although it was much pricier)
