Jackson New Hampshire

Has anyone stayed at the covered bridge motor inn. In Jackson what did you think?

Yes, but a long time ago. A very long time ago. Staff were pleasant, location was fantastic with picnic tables along a mountain stream, maybe the Ellis River?

Facilities comfortable but slightly dark and rustic like a lot of places I have stayed outside National Parks (East Glacier, Estes Park).

A lot of lodging in this part of the country will remind you of places your family stayed in the '60's.

Would I go back? Yes, in a minute.

Thank you, the price is really reasonable so I question its
likability.

If you are picky, look for interior photos. I used the word "rustic" advisedly. Think "knotty pine" in this area or " ski lodge", not so much " cute country inn" with gingham and chintz, again like the areas outside National Parks, only here it is a National Forest. People come to ski, hike, climb mountains, though lord knows there are plenty of outlet malls in North Conway.
