Ithaca, NY Lodging for Group
I am looking for a reasonably priced lodge or B&B for a group some where in the southern Finger Lakes area. Would need at least 10 rooms, some with more than one bed. I know there are several chain hotels in the area, but prefer something a little different and local.

This has 9 suites but some have an extra bed or sofabed.

As the above suggested- the William Miller inn is a good option. I have stayed there with groups and we really appreciated the first floor common areas (as well as the desserts) in the evenings.

The William Miller Inn does look lovely and the food sounds great. However, I was hoping to find something a bit less expensive; more in the $150 range if possible. I realize that may be difficult for a weekend, but that's why I tossed the question out to everyone.
Although I mentioned Ithaca in the title, we're open to a much wider area that still allows reasonable access to the state parks for hiking, wineries, Cornell's Plantation Woods, etc. |
You did not mention what month or weekend. You could check with Cornell or Syracuse University about unoccupied dorm rooms.
|
We're probably looking at April or early May, before graduation.
|
Would you consider renting a house? My friends did that for the weekend of their son's graduation from Cornell.
|
Is anyone aware of any resort type communities that also have a lodge as well as houses?
