ITHACA New York, Things to Do
 

I am heading to Ithaca for work next week and I'm looking for things to see and do for a couple of early to mid 20s guys. I know there are a few schools around there and I'm sure there's a bar scene but anything else that locals or those that have been there can recommend?

Its been awhile since Ive been there but I know there is a quarry that is good for swimming in Ithaca. Also, there is a great park called Green Lakes (named after its (naturally ocurring)spooky green color) that is a bit closer to Syracuse.

Ummm...college girls! The girls at Ithaca College are the hotter ones (I went to Cornell).

There are great wineries in the area.

Drive to Skaneateles and eat at Rosalie's Cucina. Take $$$$ but it's worth every $!

Thanks for the advice, folks. Regarding the girls from Ithaca being hotter, I have to agree. I know a few Cornelians and they are really.....smart.

My Dad, Grandparents and Great Grandparents are buried in Ithaca, place a rose on their graves for me. To bad it's too cold to swim at Buttermilk Falls, thats a fav of my family when we visit up there.

Go see Taughannock Falls, the highest (higher than Niagara) free-falling waterfall east of the Mississippi. It is only seven miles from Ithaca in Taughannock Falls State Park on Route 89 north of Ithaca.
