mycuppa, just FYI, there is a good thread (titled, "what do you pakc that makes your trip easier and/or more fun") on this topic in the "Other Topics" forum on this board. Up-to-date driver's license [and don't get stuck doing all the driving - make sure your travel partner's license is current, too. :)]

Comfy walking shoes are a must.

First Class Tickets but if those are unavailable, I like my old trusty pashmina instead of the airline blankets and I guess I think the way Kal thinks....The Yankee ( he makes Life easier)
