ISO Philly travel agent

Can anyone recommend a travel agent in Philadelphia, preferably Center City or Society Hill, who has good experience booking honeymoons and/or vacations for couples?
Or even such an agency not in Philly?
Thanks.

Any thoughts on where you want to go? Some TAs are better in certain areas than others. ((*))

Oops, sorry, should have said up front. Caribbean and other beach destinations that are accessible from Philly. There are limited non-stop tropical destinations from PHL, so we've limited ourselves to Jamaica, Aruba, Yucatan, & Florida, but I'd love to find someone who might know some shortcuts getting to other islands or parts of the world. I've done so much research on Caribbean and Riviera Maya resorts that I ended up knowing more than my current agent.

We are not into mega resorts, partying, crowds, or cruises. We want to be someplace that feels like a different part of the world.

Also, I have a destination in mind for this September (Ceiba del Mar in Puerto Morelos) and would be interested in a good package with first-class air.

Conde Nast Traveler does a list of top travel specialists every year in their August issue:

You might try contacting one of the Caribbean specialists listed.

You can get to the Bahamas non-stop from Philly. I have heard some of the outer islands are quite beautiful!

Liberty Travel has offices in and around the Philadelphia area. They usuallyhave some pretty good deals.
Fo a honeymoon, I would look into an adults only resort.

Our other trips to the Caribbean have been great. We have stayed at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Bucuti Beach Resort in Aruba (both of those are adults only), the Ocean Club on Paradise Island, Las Brisas in Acapulco, and Sunset Key Guest Cottages off of Key West. We highly recommend all those resorts. We still go to Swept Away every Christmas. Ceiba del Mar, the place we're considering for this year, is also all adults and it seems like a good place for us, plus it's like 20 minutes from the airport.

We're limited to destinations that have nonstop flights on Mondays because we always leave on Labor Day. We also have a problem in September because it is hurricane season in Mexico and the Caribbean, which is why we stuck to Aruba for so long, till US Air cut out their weekday nonstops. We risked Mexico last year and the weather was perfect but we didn't like the resort (Royal Cancun - nice but felt like Las Vegas).

I was just wondering if someone had a special travel agent that they would recommend without hesitation. The agents we've been using get us decent rates but they personally haven't been to or have the best contacts within the resorts we're interested in.

Liberty Travel is a good idea, I will call them. And thanks for reminding me about the Conde Nast annual article. I read one years ago and meant to check it out again.

I'm thinking of booking via expedia.com because they give good rates, and then contacting the resort directly for any specific requests.
