ISLIP Airport to Manhattan
 
Hello, I will be flying into ISLIP (Long Island) on business and would like to visit Manhatten. How far a ride would it be? And what's the best mode of public transportation to use? Any idea on the cost? I'd like to visit Uptown Manhattan/Theater District. Thanks in advance for your help.

Your best bet is to take the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) from the Ronkonkoma station. You can get a cab at the airport and it is about a 5 minute ride over to the train station. Ticket price will depend on if it is peak or off-peak time.<BR><BR>http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/lirr/
