Isle of Palms Restaurant
 

Hi,
We will be staying at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms in May. I am looking for a great restaurant on the island. We will being going in to Charleston Friday and Saturday for dinner, but on our last night I would like to stay on the island. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

The restaurant at Wild Dunes, which I believe is called Boardwalk, is very good. The atmosphere is a bit more posh than the typical beach place.

Check out Morgan Creek Bistro. Not amazing, but pretty good and picturesque. The Boathouse is about the only other good place out there, also recommended. Make a reservation. The Sea Biscuit is a good Breakfast/Lunch option, too.

I would vote for the Boathouse. Enjoy a drink on the roof while you watch dolphins play in the creek between Isle of Palms and Sullivan's island. Your idea of eating on IoP is good, by not going to Charleston again, you save time for another walk on the beach.

I would also suggest the Boathouse. Wonderful food, but make reservations if you can. We waited a long time but the food was totally worth it!
