Isle of Capri, Florida

Has anyone heard of this area near Naples/Marco Island, Florida? If so, can you please tell me it's exact location and what is there? Thanks.

Not sure about accomodations, but there is a great little restaurant on the water called "Backwater Nicks". Decent food and a great view.

If you are headed to Marco Island, you will see a sign for Isle of Capri. Its not very far from Marco. Great eating establishments on the island as well as the above poster has pointed one out for you.

It's about 2 miles from the Marco bridge. Not much there as I can recall except for some restaurants and a couple fishing boat charters.

Marco Island is a huge devopment for people too cheap to spend the money for Naples, but able to say they "live in Naples". Isle of Capri is for people who are too cheap to spend the money to live in Marco Island.<BR>Backwater Nick's is a place about number 79 out of 100 standard mediocre fish joints in the area.

To XXX: I didn't realize everyone in that part of town was soooo into STATUS. I'm not concerned with who is cheap and who isn't. All I need to know is if it's worth the trip for the beach, not so much the food. Thanks again

Isle of Capri is separated from Marco Island by a river and bay -- there is no beach at all on Isle of Capri.
