Islands off the coast of Florida
 
We are going to Miami for a couple of days but want to go to an island on either the east or west coast of florida for a few days...which do you like best & y. We are young 60s and like beach but also nature & cultural stuff....any recommendations. Going in early march.

Hutchinson's Island off of Stuart on the Atalntic side and Sanibel/Captiva, Siesta Key, or Longboat Key on the Gulf.

Well, the Keys come to mind. They are nothing but islands!

On the West Coast, there is Sanibel, Gasparilla, and Anna Maria, all entirely different, each with its own character.

Longboat Key off Sarasota, a fine combination of cultue, nature with beautiful beaches.
