Islamorada and Florida Keys

So decided to fly into Miami drive to Keys but stay 4 or 5 nights in Islamorada. island Resort looks amazing but would like similar recommendations but cheaper, if that is possible. Then a couple recommendations for the keys. May need somewhere close to Miami the last night.

We have stayed there and loved it. You are in HIGH HIGH season. Expect to pay high season rates I would imagine.

Is there any resort in the keys that have a swimming beach?

We couldn't go last year. So now pursuing it again. Your right high cost time. Can you recommend anywhere else. ??

Hi. If you're going as far as Key West, there are a couple of resorts that have their own beach, like Casa Marina, Hyatt residence, Southernmost and The Reach. But these beaches (or really any in KW) aren't as spectacular as other islands in the Caribbean. Duck Key has a resort that has it's own beach called Hawks Cay. Up in Key Largo, the Courtyard by Marriott has it's own beach as well. All are going to be fairly expensive at the moment, so you may want to try Airbnb for some deals.

If you google beaches in the Keys there are several up and down. We stayed at Islamorado (can't remember the resort_ and they had a beach. Not particularly large.

If you want to go back to "old Florida" in the middle of Islamorada, take a look at the White Gate Court -

Not for everyone, but we used to spend a week there each year. My BIL would tow the boat down and fish all day while we explored. Grilled dinner in front of the cottage. Simple. Low key. One of my favorite places ever. Not fancy. Definitely not for everyone.

They have a small man-made beach to relax on.

We'd drive up to snorkel at Pennekamp. You can drive down to one of the few big beaches in the Keys. But mostly we just hung out within a few miles for a full week. One day trip to Key West, just to cross it off the list. I miss staying there.

Why a new thread?
Why repeat what you repeated three times on your other active thread?
