Another vote for buying cheap coach tickets and upgrading with FF miles.<BR><BR>You really get more bang for your buck by using FF miles to upgrade.<BR><BR>I try to by discounted cheap fares (even internet fares) and use my miles to uprade.<BR><BR>IT's a long flight annd your honeymoon will be more memorable if it starts out from NYC in Business or First Class.<BR><BR>You will feel special right from the beginning of your trip.

I think using FF miles to upgrade makes more sense if you are single, however with a family look at it this way:<BR><BR>3 tix (LAX-OGG) cost around $1500-2100.<BR><BR>That's how much my family is saving. Considering I use points for Hotels, those FF savings represent my entire out-of-pocket for the trip.<BR><BR>Yes, the best pure $$$ value is upgrades (in terms of how much a equivelent ticket would cost), but 100% FREE is the best deal of all, on pure economic terms. <BR><BR>CoachBoy
