Is there free WiFi anywhere in Las Vegas for the public?
Can anyone tell me if there are any hot spots in Las Vegas where you can connect to free Wifi for the general public? (on the strip - near Cesar's Palace area)
Thanks!
Thanks!

check www.jiwire.com. The advanced search option lets you search for free hot spots within a certain radius of your known location. Most hotel lobbies have free wi-fi, I believe.

Lots of Wi-Fi in Las Vegas, but almost all is not free.
There are some free-standing Starbucks in LV, and they offer free Wi-Fi to some people (iphone users, for example, though only on an iphone). There may be others.
I would wager than independent coffee shops and stores are the most likely places. Few of those on the Strip. Perhaps there's someplace at Fashion Show Mall; it's less likely at the Forum Shops or the mall at the Venetian.

Right, if you have a Starbucks card that has money on it, then wi-fi is free. So just buy one and put some money on it before you go on your trip, OR.....
After all is said and done, it may be just as convenient for you to pay the daily access fee in your hotel, rather than having to go out pounding the pavement looking for free-standing Starbucks stores, as I am not sure that the free wi-fi would apply in a hotel lobby-based Starbucks......
