Nice affordable hotels near Boston University ?
I am going to drop off my little sister at Boston University in August and I have no clue where I should stay.I am a college student so I am kind of tight on money and cant seem to find an affordable hotel that is near the school or at least has good transportation access to BU. Please any advice will help! What neighbor hoods should I be avoiding?
Thank you!!

Go to MBTA.com for public transport information.
Basically, at the airport, you want to take the free airport shuttle to the BLUE LINE AIRPORT station. At the Ariport Station, you take BLUE LINE INBOUND to Government Center station, where you'd change for GREEN LINE B train, which goes to BU.

Hotels near many colleges at times when students are dropped off or picked up are often booked way in advance and/or they raise their rates.
I am confused - are you driving or flying. Either way, do a search here on Boston hotels or Boston lodging - this question has been asked many times before. Unfortunately, most Boston hotels are very expensive, especially in the summer.
