Is there anything to do/see?

Hi. I'm driving from Peoria, Ill to Denver and I'm just wondering if there is anything good to do/see along the way? Thanks.

1. do you have a map?
2. have you decided on a route?
3. what's your schedule..ie have you decided what areas you'll stop and stay in?
4. once you decide that, you should post your question about that particular city and/or state.

I think your question is way too broad to get many responses.

Have driven through Iowa and Nebraska a number of times, on I 80 on the way to Denver - never found any place of interest that warranted a stop.

Susan,
I used to live in Omaha. They have a real nice zoo there.
p

Near Iowa City are the Amana Colonies where you will find great food, wonderful handmade-furniture,woolens wines and lots more. Des Moines has a good botanical center and the zoo in Omaha is definitely worth a stop!
