Is there any fun festival or similar in Albuquerque?

My husband's work territory just expanded to cover this area (from California) and he was wondering if he could coincide his business trips with any fun activities during the year.

The Kodak Air Balloon Festival. See Kodak.com or do a search for more info. I really enjoyed it. Also, the outer parts of NM are great for the views alone. Like Truth or Consequence NM. It's like the set of an old western.

Regards.

The Hot Air Balloon festival is held over several weekends in October - it's a definite "must do" if you're in the area -

Any recommendations on where to stay for the festival? Looking for best location, cheap is good, my dad just wants a "bed & shower". Thank you!
