Is there a web site to research flight destinations from airports?

I can't seem to find information on what airlines fly from what airports to what destinations. Is there a comprehensive website I can research this info on?

Or do I need to go on each specific airport's web site, check which airlines fly from that airport, then check directly with the airlines?

That is what I have been doing, but I'm thinking there must be a quicker way to access this info and if anyone knows it would be a Fodor's traveler.

I am searching for a non stop flight from the upstate New York airports (Newburgh, Albany, White Plains, and Newark NJ only if I have to) to Fort Myers Florida.

Thanks for any leads you may be able to share.

Happy trails,
Aranda

For what you are trying to do, probably easiest to go to the Fort Myers airport website and see what destinations start there.

Other than that, you can use a website such as kayak.com and search for NYC airports (and nearby airports) which might pick up what you need.

I don't have a particular website, but from what I can find, only non-stops from up-state NY are from BUF (Airtran and Jetblue).

Only other NY-state airports with non-stops to RSW are LGA (Delta) and ISP (Southwest).

Or you can go down to EWR (Continental and Jetblue), or to other states.

Thanks, I'll follow these leads. I appreciate your help.

Somehow I still think there is a website somewhere that would link up all this information. Would make booking and research so much more streamlined.

go to www.itasoftware.com and put in Ft. Myers as the origination point and the MOST CONVENIENT of those airports listed as the destination. Ask for airports within 50 miles as destinations also. Hit the search button...

Maybe the airport's arrivals/departures are helpful? You'll see from what other airports the planes arrive, those are non-stops.

with Southwest it's easy, they have "our cities" link with a map, so you can see the non-stops.

I don't know if other airlines have the same.

As rkkwan wrote, http://www.oag.com/NorthAmerica/Airl...oflyswhere.asp may help. But you have to put in the from and to airports.

dukey's advice also works with kayak.com
I searched on kayak.com using Ft. Myers airport as the starting point and Newburgh as the destination but checking nearby airports for that and prefer nonstop.

Airtran has nonstops (it looks like only 1 a day in each direction - other flights stop/change in Atlanta) b/w RSW (Ft. Myers) and HPN (Westchester) and they're also far and away the cheapest (I picked an arbitrary date in May)

Continental flies RSW to EWR (Newark)

Delta flies RSW to LGA

Jet Blue to JFK

Southwest to ISP

You can also go to the wikipedia page for an airport. They usually tell what airlines and cities are served.

sidestep.com, according to CNN's top 25 travel web sites article, is supposed to be even more streamlined than kayak.com.

www.flightstats.com will have the info. Plug departure airport and arrival airport and all the days flights will be displayed.

For instance, I found a Jet Blue from Westchester County.
